Elizabeth L. Cline is an author, researcher, and educator specializing in sustainabiliy and labor rights in apparel industry supply chains. She has written two books on the fashion industry—Overdressed: The Shockingly High Cost of Cheap Fashion and The Conscious Closet: A Revolutionary Guide to Looking Good While Doing Good. She also teaches two graduate-level courses in Columbia University's Sustainability Management Master's Program: Fashion Policy and the Politics of Government Action and Consumerism and Sustainability.
